Custom Jeans Measurement Guide [Once completed please send measurements to arlo@aosr.design]
To ensure the best possible fit, please measure a pair of jeans you already own and like the fit of. Lay the jeans flat on a hard surface and use a flexible measuring tape.
All measurements should be taken in inches.
Waist
Button the jeans and lay them flat.
Measure straight across the top of the waistband from one side to the other.
Multiply this number by 2.
Example: 16" across = 32" waist.
Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg opening.
Front Rise
Measure from the crotch seam straight up to the top of the front waistband.
Thigh
Measure across the leg approximately 1 inch below the crotch seam.
Multiply by 2 if requested.
Knee
Measure across the leg at the knee area.
Multiply by 2 if requested.
Leg Opening
Measure across the very bottom of the leg opening.
Multiply by 2 if requested.
Preferred Fit
Please include a brief description of how you would like the jeans to fit.
Examples:
- Relaxed and baggy
- Straight fit
- Slight flare
- Wide leg
- Extra oversized
- Similar to a specific pair you own
Reference Photos
If possible, include:
- Front photo of the jeans you want the fit based on
- Back photo
- Any inspiration images
The more information you provide, the more accurately your custom pair can be made.
Because every piece is handmade and one-of-one, minor variations are normal and are part of the character of the garment.
